A tenth-floor studio, and nothing but ocean.

Mahana 1002 studio with a king bed, sofa, and dining table facing the ocean
King bed, sofa, and a table for two, all facing the water.

Built for two, pointed at the Pacific.

Walk in and the windows do the talking: open ocean, and on a clear day the islands sitting low on the horizon. The studio is one room done carefully — bed, kitchen, a table for two, and the lanai when the trade winds are up.

Air conditioning runs through the unit, laundry is in the closet, and the bath is a proper tub and shower after the beach. Reservations and rates are with KBM Resorts.

“The views are insane from the 10th floor. You feel like you are floating above the water.”

  1. 1Lahaina Harbor

    about 6 miles south

The harbor and a slowly rebuilding Front Street sit south of the studio. Daytime trips leave again on a limited schedule: Trilogy sails, PacWhale snorkels toward Lānaʻi and Honolua, and Atlantis submarine dives. Confirm the harbor on the ticket. Many other boats still leave from Māʻalaea or Kāʻanapali beach.

  5. 5Honolua Bay

    about 8 miles north

A protected bay past Kapalua. Park near the one-lane bridge after mile marker 32 and walk the shaded trail to a rocky entry. Go when the water is calm. Stay on the paths, be respectful of the people who live nearby, and pack out everything you bring. There are no trash cans.
